THE MILLERS MILE CORACLE CLUB e.mail millersmileclub@gmail.com
Unfortunately DEFRA have decided not to pay the property's single farm payment at the end of June and there was no money in the club account to pay the BCU Renewal Fee of £130. The BCU is The British Canoe Union. The Millers Mile Coracle Club has to be affiliated to get the insurance. So now we are unable to offer have a go in a coracle sessions on Sundays June to September like last year and our coracling festivals & events are cancelled except for the London 2012 Open Weekend Have a Go in a Coracle Session on July 23rd which will go ahead as usual.(for the 4th year running)Anyone with a Lucozade or Asda Sports for All Voucher can save themselves the £5 Club Fee but it will be a very limited go in a coracle in a foot of water (The river is very low).
The vision now is to sell a coracle or two to get the club back up and running the popular have a go sunday sessions.
We have lots of coracles for sale.3 specially made to be used in heated swimming pools £1800 the 3.
